Grading
Everything is out of 100 marks.
| Component | Marks | How |
|---|---|---|
| Quizzes | 54 | Three closed-book quizzes, a mix of short conceptual questions and problems. Your best two count, 27 marks each. No makeup quizzes: a missed quiz is one of the dropped scores. |
| Assignments | 39 | Three programming assignments in Python and PyTorch, 13 marks each, each extending code from a lecture notebook. After each deadline, every student takes a short individual quiz or viva on their own submission: you explain your code, your plots and your choices, and your marks reflect that conversation. |
| Attendance | 7 | Recorded on the biometric system. It is your responsibility to make sure it registers. |
