The camera feed is scanned a dozen times a second for the four straight edges of a page — a hand over one edge is fine. Hold still for a moment and the page is captured on its own; or press space whenever you like. Corners can be nudged afterwards.
cleaned like a scanner
The page is un-skewed with a perspective warp, then uneven lighting is flattened so paper reads as flat white and ink as ink. Pick colour, greyscale, or crisp black & white — and rotate any page that came in sideways.
local by design
A strict Content-Security-Policy forbids every network request, so the page couldn't upload a frame even if it wanted to. The PDF is written in this tab, from scratch. Open source, MIT.
